Jeff founded Amazon.com in 1994. It started as an online Bookstore, but soon evolved into an eCommerce store where the customer could buy anything. Amazon is now worth $925B and 3rd highest valued co, behind Apple & MicroSoft. He was the richest man in the world as of 10/17 with a net worth of almost $94B, just ahead of Bill Gates at $88B.

He is best known as the founder of Virgin Group, which comprises more than 400 companies. At the age of 16, his first business venture was a magazine called Student. In 1970, he set up a Mail-order record business. In 1972, he opened a chain of Record stores, Virgin Records, later known as Virgin Mega-stores.
