Jeff founded Amazon.com in 1994. It started as an online Bookstore, but soon evolved into an eCommerce store where the customer could buy anything. Amazon is now worth $925B and 3rd highest valued co, behind Apple & MicroSoft. He was the richest man in the world as of 10/17 with a net worth of almost $94B, just ahead of Bill Gates at $88B.
#2 Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, comprising over 400 companies. Sir Richard Branson 67 is an English businessman and investor. He is best known as the founder of Virgin Group, which comprises more than 400 companies. At the age of 16, his first business venture was a magazine called Student. In 1970, he set up a Mail-order record business. In 1972, he opened a chain of Record stores, Virgin Records, later known as Virgin Mega-stores.
