How to promote your business is the #1 Question out of most people’s mouths when they first meet with me. The next question is how can we market on a limited budget, which usually means they have zero dollars? [Well, maybe a dime or two] I let you in on some of the top methods myself and other experts as well, that my clients have used successfully to promote our business.
ZERO: We walked away with new clients and a significant amount of exposure each time. The cost to you to implement these winning techniques – I am sure you want to know = ZERO. Well almost nothing.
Timely. I say almost nothing because your time is required. Your time is one the most valuable assets you have as a business owner. Therefore, you do not want to waste it with projects that will not generate business and acquire visibility. None of us has time for losing propositions. Read each tip completely as I touch on how you formulate each one so it succeeds.
How to Promote your Business
1. Generate an Info Report that gives statistics in your industry in any area that is of a high interest. Smart buyers love statistics and if they can learn something that helps their personal or business life on top of it, you will have a huge hit. It will also help solidify you as an expert, which means a significant difference in respect and your fees.
Put this report out on all your social networks and include it in your newsletter. If you can make into an Info-graphic and put it on Pinterest as well. That will get it the exposure it needs. Do this regularly and it will generate a lot of traffic & back-links. This is a great, yet “free” way to promote your business.
2. Dedicate a Q&A page on your web-site, where people can ask you “How to” questions in your area of expertise. Put the Q&A in your newsletters to get additional coverage. You can tweet them with the link to your website. You put out the question with a link for the answer. It will bring people into your website where they can get to know you and opt in to your newsletter. It’s a great way to show people your knowledge.
